How Clear Aligners Work
Day to Day
You will wear your aligners for 20-22 hours per day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. During mealtimes, put your aligners in their case, brush when you're done, then put the aligners back over your teeth. You will wear each set of aligners in the series for about two weeks before moving onto the next.
Every 6 Weeks
You will drop by our Salt Lake City office about every six weeks so that Dr. Hernandez-Gil can check your progress and make sure your treatment is on track. Treatment using traditional orthodontics usually involves more frequent checkups. This is just one more reason why clear aligners make straightening your teeth easy.
12 to 18 Months
